About Iceworks Solutions

ICEWORKS is a Berkshire-based specialist dry ice blasting contractor providing industrial decontamination, surface preparation and restoration services across London, the Home Counties and the wider South of England.

We work across industrial and manufacturing environments, commercial facilities, buildings and restoration projects, and selected specialist automotive applications.

Why Iceworks

Effective surface preparation starts with understanding what needs to be removed, what must remain and how the treated surface will be used afterwards.

Dry ice blasting offers distinct advantages where introducing water or abrasive blasting media is undesirable. However, it is not a universal replacement for mechanical, chemical or other preparation methods.

We assess the substrate, contamination, access and project requirements before agreeing the treatment. Where additional preparation or an alternative method is needed to achieve the intended outcome, we make that clear.

Our objective is to provide a practical, technically considered solution — not simply to recommend blasting.

Director-Led. Technically Accountable.

ICEWORKS was founded by Garry Vaughan, whose background includes over 14 years of hands-on experience in automotive workshop environments, alongside work with compressors, mechanical systems and industrial surface preparation.

His experience also includes production shot blasting and the spray application of zinc-rich protective coatings ahead of powder coating.

This background informs our approach to assessing surface condition, understanding the requirements of different treatment methods and recognising when additional preparation or protection is needed.

ICEWORKS is led directly by its founder, with hands-on involvement in project assessment, planning and delivery. This keeps technical decisions closely aligned with the agreed scope and required outcome.

Standards & Compliance

We recognise that specialist treatment work must fit within the safety, operational and compliance requirements of each site.

Our planning considers the working environment, equipment, contamination, access and activities taking place nearby.

RAMS Documentation

Risk assessments and method statements are prepared to address the work and site-specific requirements, with relevant controls agreed before treatment begins.

COSHH Assessments

Relevant substances, contamination and exposure risks are considered during project planning. Appropriate controls are established according to the materials and working environment.

ICEWORKS carries £10 million Public & Products Liability Insurance. Confirmation of cover is available on request.
